#### Chapter 1: A Life of Stability

Josh was the epitome of the American Dream. A middle-class man with a thriving career as a licensed HVAC technician, he had built a life of stability and comfort. He lived in a nice neighborhood, drove a modest vehicle, and prided himself on being a loving father to his daughter, Lily (name changed to protect her privacy. Josh was sentenced to 25 years in prison with no chance of parole. He is a shell of the man he once was, struggling to hang on to his life. The silver bullet had hit its mark, destroying everything.
